Miami Swim Week
This year’s edition of Miami Swim Week takes place Thursday, July 11th through Tuesday, July 16th. Swim Week, which is produced by the global fashion outfit known as The Society, grew out of the swimwear industry tradeshow called SwimShow, which remains at the core of the proceedings. SwimShow runs from July 13th through the 16th at the Miami Beach Convention Center, which happens to be an easy walk from the La Cerveceria de Barrio location on Lincoln Road and a mere mile or so from our Ocean Drive restaurant.
Another tradition kicks off Miami Swim Week: Miss Bikini United States, which is underway July 9th through July 11th and includes bikini-model contestants from across the U.S. as well as Canada.
Then are all the runway swimwear and resort-wear fashion shows, including Paraiso, which takes place July 11th through the 14th, and Art Hearts Fashion, running July 11th through the 16th. From July 12th through July 14th, Miami Swim Week will also be featuring a popup swimwear and fashion shop in the form of Swim Lounge.
