We don’t have very many spooky barren trees to offer, but Greater Miami still serves as a fantastic place to celebrate All Hallow’s Eve. You certainly can’t beat La Cerveceria de Barrio for any and all celebratory feasts in the midst of getting your Halloween on, South Florida-style.

Here’s a quick look at just a few of the Halloween events going on around the Miami metro area this year!

Nightmare on the Beach

This popular beach party is a fundraiser for the Little Lighthouse Foundation, a non-profit that supports at-risk youth and their families in South Florida. From DJ sets and food tastings to a whole lot of costumes, it’s a sultry Halloween bash for a good cause!

Howl-O-Ween

You and your four-legged buddy can get in on the Halloween spirit together at Howl-O-Ween at Pinecrest Gardens, which this year takes place Sunday, October 27th from noon to 5 PM. From costume contests and a pumpkin patch to a Doggie Fun Zone Agility Course, this’ll be fun for human and pooch alike.

Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival

It’s something else to see a corn maze backed by palm trees! That’s part of the pleasure at the annual Coconut Grove Pumpkin Patch Festival, which goes down this year on Saturday, October 26th and Sunday, October 27th at Peacock Park. Choose the perfect gourd in the pumpkin patch, enjoy family carnival rides, fraternize with the inhabitants of Scarecrow Village, and have an all-around blast.

Ghosts in the Garden

With a well-attended costume parade, trick-or-treating good times, Jack-o-Lantern carving, craft activities led by a pair of witches, and more, the Miami Beach Botanical Garden’s Ghosts in the Garden Halloween celebration is very much a family-friendly affair. It takes place on Sunday, October 27th from 11 AM to 2 PM.

My Fright Nights

My Fright Nights at the South Florida fairgrounds is one of several notable haunted houses in the greater Miami area; other options include the Paranoia Horror Maze (which is open all year-round) and the huge House of Horror Haunted Carnival, which is taking a break in 2019 and returning next year.

Enjoy Scary Good Cuisine at La Cerveceria de Barrio

If you’ve got a frightening appetite going after some round-and-round forays in a corn maze, a freaky passage through a ghoul-ridden haunted house, or a glamorous costume party, head over to Miami Beach and satisfy it with some of the very best Mexican cuisine in South Florida here at La Cerveceria de Barrio. We’d love to feed your Halloween hunger at either of our two locations, on Lincoln Road or Ocean Drive!
