More About the South Beach Wine & Food Festival
The South Beach Wine & Food Festival (also known as the SOBEWFF) has been going on in Miami for 18 years now, and this year, the festival has more than 100 events scheduled — many of which are $100 or less.
The festival is put on by the Food Network and the Cooking Channel, and the motto is “EAT. DRINK. EDUCATE.” Attendance each year reaches 60,000 people or more!
This year, it will take place from February 20 to February 24, 2019. Culinary personalities and chefs from around the world will be here to showcase their products, skills, and talents. You’ll be able to taste some of the world’s most delicious and renowned spirits and wines — as well as delicious foods of all types and from all around the world. It’s definitely a can’t miss event!
The event is hosted by Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits and Florida International University or FIU. Most likely the best thing about the festival is that all proceeds go directly to the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University. Not only can you come to enjoy wine and food, but you can also learn something. That’s the goal!
